German language exam for adults.
The course is recommended at age 16 +. It certifies that candidates have acquired advanced language skills and corresponds to the B2 language level laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It shows the ability to understand complex texts on concrete and abstract topics; the ability to select relevant information, to draw up longer texts on current topics, to express their opinion and to participate actively in long conversations in oral form.
The certificate is well recognized by employers in all German-speaking countries.
Passing the exam demonstrates that you:
- can understand the main contents of complex texts on concrete and abstract topics; also understands specialized discussions,
- can communicate so spontaneously and fluently that a normal conversation with native speakers is easily possible without a great deal of effort on either side,
- can express him/herself on a wide range of topics in a clear and detailed manner, explain his/her position on a current issue and indicate the benefits and drawbacks of various options.
